Amanda Chambers

Amanda Chambers enters her fifth year as an assistant coach for the CBU softball team. Chambers recently helped guide the Lady Bucs to their most wins in Gulf South Conference history.
Among the wins was a 9-3 triumph over No.2 Auburn Montgomery, which has recently claimed the GSC Tournament crown and advanced to the NCAA Division II College World Series.

Over the last two seasons the Lady Bucs earned 17 GSC victories, which is tied for the most in program history (2004-05).

Chambers also helped CBU earn its first GSC weekly awards, since they were established in 2012, as Josie Bond and RJ Simpson were named GSC Freshman of the Week.

The Lady Bucs broke numerous team records this season, including slugging percentage (.434), on base percentage (.477), runs (290), home runs (45), RBIs (247) and total bases (521). Chambers recently earned an MBA, from CBU with a concentration in Project Management.
