Leila Dolfo is in her second year as assistant coach at CBU. Her first year saw the Lady Bucs post the second-highest team batting average in school history and set a new school record for on base percentage, with the second-most hits, walks, runs, and home runs in school history.
Before coming to CBU, the San Diego native was a three-time All-Conference player at the University of Memphis. She was also an NFCA All-Region pick as a freshman. She won the team's Offensive Player of the Year award twice before winning Team MVP honors as a junior. She holds school records for career at bats, runs, hits, doubles, home runs, RBI's, total bases, walks, and sacrifice flies, and she is tied for the mark for triples and games started. She ranks second in games played and slugging percentage. She ranks eighth in C-USA history in doubles, ninth in total bases, and 12th in home runs.
Dolfo excelled in the classroom as well, earning a spot on the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll twice and earning a spot in the Tiger 3.0 Club six times. She was named to the Tiger Academic 30, recognizing the top GPA on each team as well as the next 12 best, for 30 total student-athletes. After graduating in communications at Memphis, Dolfo is enrolled in the Master of Education program at CBU.
