Darvin Gill enters his second season as an assistant coach for the CBU women's basketball team. Gill comes to CBU after spending two seasons under Hall of Fame head coach Rick Insell, where he helped lead MTSU to the 2021 C-USA Championship.

Gill also had three stops as a high school coach, including three seasons at the helm of Rhea County High School. While at Rhea County, Gill helped lead the team to back-to-back regional tournaments for the first time in over 20 years. In 2018, he led the Golden Eagles to the Regional Semi Final and was named 6-AAA Coach of The Year.   

Gill spent eight seasons as an assistant coach at Cannon County High School and one year at White County. 

Gill earned a Master's of Higher Education from Middle Tennessee State.
