Lynsey Warren enters her first season as an assistant coach for the Christian Brothers University women's basketball team.
Warren comes to Memphis after spending the last 10 seasons as head coach at Ohio Dominican, where she departed after earning the second most victories in school history (142). Included in her run as the head coach with ODU was a 20-9 campaign, in 2015-16, a season which saw the Panthers reach as high as No. 6 in the Midwest Regional Rankings. ODU posted a winning record in six of Warren's final seven years at the helm. The Panthers won at least 18 games in three of her final six seasons.
Before arriving at Ohio Dominican, Warren spent one season at NCAA Division III Kenyon College, helping the Ladies to a 15-12 mark and 8-6 record in the NCAC. She also spent a year as the graduate assistant at Ashland.
The Columbus, Ohio native was a two-sport athlete at Ashland, where she tallied 803 points, 467 rebounds and a .522 field goal percentage while helping the team to an overall 57-33 record. As a freshman, she averaged 7.8 points per game for an Eagles' squad that won the GLIAC South Division championship and advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament. Warren's most successful individual season came as a senior (2008-09) when she led the team in points per game (14.0), field goal percentage (.530) and blocks (30) en route to Second-Team South Division All-GLIAC honors.
Warren also spent four years as a starting setter for the volleyball team, where she garnered All-America honors following her junior and senior seasons, and keyed Ashland's run to the 2006 Elite Eight.
