Box Score MEMPHIS—The Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs hit .323 as a team on their way to a three-set win over Bethel Tuesday night at Canale Arena.
The Lady Bucs (15-4) never trailed later than 2-1 in a set and pulled away to win handily in all three, winning 25-16, 25-14, and 25-15.
Kaitlin Keathley (Henderson, Nev./Silverado HS) led the way with 14 kills and one error in 21 tries, for a .619 hitting percentage, the highest in a match at CBU since Laura Washington hit .667 against Lyon in 2006. Keathley's hitting percentage for the match ranks seventh in school history.
Hailey Gillis (Corpus Christi, Texas/Carroll HS) added 11 kills and hit .348.
Kelsey Miles (Cordova, Tenn./St. Benedict HS) collected a match-best 36 assists and seven digs, and
Corinne Doder (St. Louis, Mo./Cor Jesu Academy) gathered a match-high 20 digs.
Adrianna Gonzalez led Bethel with seven kills, while Shelby Phenix had 12 assists. Pollyanna Vitel posted a team-best eight digs.
The Lady Bucs return to GSC play Friday night at 7 p.m., when they host West Alabama.
