MEMPHIS-North Alabama forward Chloe Richards scored all four goals to lift the visiting Lions to a 4-0 win over the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs Friday night at Signaigo Field.
Richards opened the scoring in the 39th minute as she found the net unassisted from the top of the 18-yard box. The score remained 1-0 until the final 14 minutes, when she scored three more to put the game out of reach.
Richards doubled the UNA (9-2-1, 6-2 GSC) lead in the 77th minute as she scored off a long pass from Eleanor Costello. She finished off an Alyssa Bova free kick for another goal in the 84th minute, and she set the final margin with a 90th-minute goal off a throughball from Danielle Scanlon.
The Lions out-shot CBU (10-3, 6-3) 13-9 for the game, including a 7-2 advantage in shots on goal.
Robyn Wade (Collierville, Tenn./Collierville HS) made three saves for the Lady Bucs.
The Lady Bucs step out of GSC play for the final time this season Monday night as they host Trevecca Nazarene at 6 p.m.
