Lauren Provence had an RBI single and a run scored, but No. 15 North Alabama topped the Lady Bucs 14-2 Saturday.
Box Score MEMPHIS-No. 15 North Alabama only scored in two innings Saturday afternoon against the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs, but they made the most of those two innings in a 14-2 win to complete the series sweep.

The Lions (25-6, 12-3 GSC) plated five runs in the third inning on six hits and an error to take the lead.

They put it out of reach with a nine-run fifth inning as they took advantage of two walks, a hit batter, five singles and three CBU (5-18, 1-11) errors.

The Lady Bucs set the final margin with a pair of runs in the bottom of the fifth. Ali Hare (Cape Coral, Fla./Ida Baker HS) worked a leadoff walk and moved to second on an Alexis Seward (Chino, Calif./Chino HS) groundout. Lauren Provence (Millington, Tenn./Briarcrest Christian HS) singled to left to score Hare, moving to third on a wild throw home. Marie Joiner (San Clemente, Calif./San Clemente HS) scored her with an infield single.

The Lady Bucs hit the road next weekend for a three-game GSC series at Valdosta State, with Saturday's twinbill set for 2 p.m. and Sunday's game scheduled for noon. Their next home game is a non-conference doubleheader Tuesday, March 25 at 1 p.m.
