Box Score VALDOSTA, Ga.-Host Valdosta State hit four home runs en route to an 8-0 win over the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs Sunday afternoon to complete the sweep of the three-game series.

VSU (27-8, 11-5 GSC) wasted no time getting on the board, as leadoff hitter Courtney Albritton hit a leadoff homer in the bottom of the first. They turned two walks a single into another run to take a 2-0 lead after the inning. A double, a hit batter and back-to-back homers brought in four runs in the second, and they set the final margin in the fourth with another two-run homer after a leadoff walk.

VSU pitcher Brianna Hancock blanked the Lady Bucs (5-21, 1-14) on three hits, singles by Nikki Story (Southaven, Miss./Southaven HS) and Jennifer Gonzalez (Covina, Calif./Charter Oak HS) as well as a fifth-inning Amy Gracia (Fontana, Calif./International Polytechnic HS) double.

The Lady Bucs come home Tuesday afternoon at 1 p.m. as they host Missouri S&T for a non-conference doubleheader. They host a GSC series with West Alabama next weekend, with Saturday's doubleheader scheduled for a 2 p.m. start and Sunday's single game set for 1 p.m.
