Box Score CLEVELAND, Tenn.-Host Lee University scored in three of the four innings in which they batted as they won 11-0 in the final regular season game of the season for both schools Sunday afternoon.
The Lady Flames (23-22, 13-14 GSC) blitzed CBU for three runs in the first inning on a pair of walks, a single and a triple, and they tacked on two more in the third inning on an error, a walk, a passed ball and an infield single.
Lee blew it open in the fourth with six runs on three walks, a hit batter, two errors, a double and a homer, setting the final margin at 11-0.
Five different Lady Bucs (9-38, 2-28) singled in the game.
The Lady Bucs return to action in the GSC Tournament at Heritage Park in Cullman, Ala., Thursday. They will face No. 2 Alabama-Huntsville, the tournament's top seed, in the first round at 11 a.m., and they will face either fourth-seeded West Florida or fifth-seeded Delta State at 1:30 p.m.
