FLORENCE, Ala.-North Alabama forward Chloe Richards scored a first-half hat trick as North Alabama defeated the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs 4-1 Friday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED:• Richards opened the scoring in the 29th minute as she scored off a double-assist from Kylie Huey and Samantha Parrish to give UNA (10-2-1, 6-2-0 GSC) a 1-0 lead.
• Richards tacked on another score in the 38th minute off a cross from Stacey Webber.
• UNA extended its lead to 3-0 in the 45th minute as Richards scored her 23rd goal of the season, assisted by Anna Katherine Green.
• The Lions added another goal in the 58th minute, when Eleanor Costello scored off a double-assist by Alyssa Bova and Beatriz Fernandes.
• CBU (7-5-1, 4-4-1) broke through in the 90th minute, when
Ellen Garner (Pulaski, Tenn./Giles County HS) served a free kick to
Connie Strini (Germantown, Tenn./Houston HS), who converted her fourth goal of the season.
KEY STATS:• UNA out-shot the Lady Bucs 26-10 for the game, including a 9-4 lead in shots on goal.

Camilla Rodrigues (Belo Horizonte, Brazil/American School) took a team-high four shots for CBU.

Emily Wragg (Nottingham, England/The Becket School) made five saves in the game for the Lady Bucs.
WHAT'S NEXT:The Lady Bucs step out of GSC play for the last time this season as they face Georgia College Monday afternoon at 4 p.m. in a neutral-site game in Carrollton, Ga., at West Georgia. Their final home game is set for Friday, Oct. 30, as they host Union at 5 p.m.
