Bucs Stun No. 11 Flames in Final Seconds

CLEVELAND, Tenn.-Christian Brothers University freshman midfielder Xavi Lao (Barcelona, Spain, Escola Pia Sabadell) scored the game-winning goal in the final seconds to lift the Bucs to a 2-1 win at No. 11 Lee Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Bucs (11-4-0, 4-3-0) equalized in the 79th minute as Lao headed in a corner kick from Brendan Bennett (Belfast, Northern Ireland/St. Mary's Christian Brothers Grammar School).
• Lao's game-winner came off a set piece in the 90th minute. The Bucs drew a foul in the game's final seconds. Off the free kick, Lao won a loose ball in the box and shot it into the corner of the net as time expired for the game-winner.
