MEMPHIS-The Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs won the first set, but visiting Lee won the next three to claim a four-set win Tuesday night at Canale Arena.
HOW IT HAPPENED:• After falling behind 6-4 early, the Lady Bucs (8-16, 4-10 GSC) used a seven-point run as they took an 11-6 lead en route to a 25-12 win. CBU hit .591 for the set, with 14 kills and just one error in 22 attempts.
• In the second set, the Lady Flames (11-13, 6-8) seized control with a six-point run to turn a 10-9 edge into a 16-9 lead. They extended their lead to 24-16 before a five-point run brought CBU within three points, but a service error gave Lee a 25-21 win.
• The Lady Bucs jumped to a 6-1 lead in the third set, but Lee battled back into the set with a 5-1 run to tie it at 15, then they finished on a 9-3 run to win 25-20.
• The fourth set was back-and-forth throughout, with neither team building a lead of more than three points. Lee took a 22-19 lead on a service error, but the Lady Bucs used a pair of
Mary Kathryn Miller (Fulton, Ky./Fulton City HS) kills to tie the set at 22. The Lady Flames scored the next two to lead 24-22, but kills by Miller and
Lauren Hoffman (Anchorage, Alaska/South Anchorage HS) tied the set back up at 24. The Lady Flames scored the final two points to win the set 26-24 and claim the victory.

Alexis Gillis (Corpus Christi, Texas/Carroll HS) led the Lady Bucs with 14 kills, adding 15 digs, three blocks and two aces.

Brinsley Cooper (Rossville, Ind./Rossville HS) hit .480 with 12 kills and a team-high five blocks.
• Miller racked up 11 kills and hit .474 with four blocks.

Blythe Clausen (Hendersonvile, Tenn./Pope John Paul II HS) notched 18 digs.

Demi Chipman (Bartlett, Tenn./Bartlett HS) logged 13 digs.

Jessica Reber (Byron, Ill./Byron HS) had 43 assists, six digs and four blocks.
