FLORENCE, Ala.-Host North Alabama hit .330 as they swept a three-set match from the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Lions (20-6, 13-2 GSC) jumped to a 12-6 lead in the opening set and extended their lead to 23-12 before CBU (8-17, 4-11) responded with a 9-1 run to close within 24-21, but the Lions scored the next point to win 25-21.
• UNA gain took control quickly, opening a 14-6 lead in the second set and building an 18-8 edge. The Lady Bucs answered with four straight to close within 18-12, but another four-point run put UNA back on top by 10 as they went on to win 25-14.
• The Lions exploded for leads of 6-0, 11-1 and 17-4 on their way to a 25-8 win in the third set to complete the sweep.

KEY STATS:
• Brinsley Cooper (Rossville, Ind./Rossville HS) hit .286 with 10 kills to lead CBU
• Alexis Gillis (Corpus Christi, Texas/Carroll HS) added nine kills.
• Marisa Wong (Germantown, Tenn./Houston HS) garnered 10 digs.
• Jessica Reber (Byron, Ill./Byron HS) led the Lady Bucs with 21 assists.
