COACH'S THOUGHTS:"We came a long way from Friday night. It hurts bad because it would have been such a good win for us. But the first question coming in, we had to show we're better than we played the other night. And we did that. There's still so much growth to this team."
On the game-winning shot:"That was a tough shot. If you draw it up defensively, that's a shot we're going to give up, so you have to live with that."
WHAT'S NEXT:The Bucs hit the road for a pair of games next week. They visit Trevecca Nazarene Thursday night at 7 p.m. before traveling to No. 5 Bellarmine Saturday night at 6 p.m. Their next home game is Tuesday, Nov. 24, as they host Harding at 7 p.m.
