MARTIN, Tenn.-Host UT-Martin out-scored the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs 30-2 in the first quarter as they won 93-41 in an exhibition game Monday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED:• The Skyhawks scored the game's first 24 points before
Courtney Banks (Memphis, Tenn./White Station HS) put CBU on the board with a steal and fastbreak layup. The Skyhawks never allowed CBU closer than 27 again after the first quarter.
• For the second straight exhibition game, CBU played a strong third quarter. In Friday's loss at Ole Miss, CBU lost the third quarter 20-18, while Monday night they played UTM to a 16-16 tie in the third stanza.
KEY STATS:• Banks led the Lady Bucs with 10 points and three assists to go with five rebounds.

Alexis Haddock (Collinwood, Tenn./Collinwood HS) hauled in a game-high eight rebounds.
• CBU shot just 29.4 percent (15-of-51) to the Skyhawks' 45.5 percent (35-of-77).
• UTM out-reboudned the Lady Bucs 47-31.
• CBU committed 28 turnovers while forcing 12.
WHAT'S NEXT:The Lady Bucs wrap up exhibition play Saturday night at 7 p.m. as they visit Austin peay. They open the regular season Monday, Nov. 23, with a 5:30 p.m. game at Harding. CBU's home opener is Thursday, Dec. 3, as they host Lee at 5 p.m.
