LIVINGSTON, Ala.-The Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs scored five goals in a 27-minute span as they pulled away to a 5-2 win over No. 21 Saint Leo Friday morning.
HOW IT HAPPENED:• The Lions (2-1-1) struck first in the 19th minute, when Genevieve Gignac scored off a cross from Rosie Young.
• CBU (3-0-0) equalized in the 44th minute, when
Natalia Amancio (Belo Horizonte, Brazil/American School) scored her first career goal off a cross from
Camilla Rodrigues (Belo Horizonte, Brazil/American School).
• The Lady Bucs took the lead for good in the 58th minute, when
Melissa Tammi (Collierville, Tenn./Collierville HS) scored off a free kick.

Ellen Garner (Pulaski, Tenn./Giles County HS) extended the CBU lead to 3-1 in the 61st minute as she finished off a Rodrigues cross.
• The Lady Bucs added another score to the lead in the 68th minute, when
Mariana Tonelli (Belo Horizonte, Brazil/American School) scored off a feed from Tammi.
• Rodrigues finished the offensive explosion in the 71st minute when she scored unassisted to give CBU a 5-1 lead.
• Gignac set the final margin when she scored on a header in the 90th minute.
KEY STATS:• Rodrigues scored a goal with two assists.

Emily Wragg (Nottingham, England/The Becket School) made five saves to earn the victory.
