CLINTON, Miss.-Freshman outside hitter logged 14 kills, seven digs and three aces to lead the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs to a three-set sweep of host Mississippi College Thursday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Lady Bucs (11-11, 6-6 GSC) held a narrow lead for most of the first set, leading by as many as four points at 15-11 before the Lady Choctaws (8-15, 1-11) knotted the set at 17. A kill and an ace from Lenoir keyed a 4-1 burst that put CBU on top for good as they went on to win 25-22.
• In the second set, the Lady Choctaws built a 21-19 edge before CBU closed on a 6-1 run, featuring three Lenoir kills, to win by an identical 25-22 score.
• CBU hit .429 in the third set as they raced out to leads of 12-4 and 16-6 en route to a 25-14 win to conclude the sweep.
KEY STATS:
• Lenoir hit .346 on her way to a match-best 14 kills, matching her highest total in a three-set match this season. Her three aces were also a match-best.

Mary Kathryn Miller (Fulton, Ky./Fulton City HS) hit .500 with 10 kills and three digs.
•
Jessica Reber (Byron, Ill./Byron HS) dished out 31 assists with eight digs, five kills and two aces.
•
Blythe Clausen (Hendersonvile, Tenn./Pope John Paul II HS) notched a team-high 12 digs with four assists and a pair of aces.
