Second-Half Goals Down Lady Bucs

MEMPHIS-Visiting West Alabama scored a pair of goals in the second half to claim a 2-0 win over the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs Friday night at Signaigo Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Tigers (7-4-0, 5-1-0 GSC) struck first in the 54th minute, when Marie Dreezen sent a long shot from 35 yards into the top of the net for her third goal of the season.
• In the 74th minute, UWA doubled its advantage when TeMia Pride won a loose ball in the box after a failed CBU (3-8-0, 3-4-0) clearance attempt, and she scored on the open net.

KEY STATS:
• Each team took 10 shots for the game, but UWA held a commanding 7-1 edge in shots on goal.
Emily Wragg (Nottingham, England/The Becket School) made five saves for the Lady Bucs.
