MEMPHIS-No. 7 Missouri-St. Louis swept a doubleheader from the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs Tuesday afternoon at Bland Field, winning 5-0 and 14-0.
GAME 1:WHAT HAPPENED:Three-time All-American Hannah Perryman tossed a three-hit shutout to lift the Tritons (6-0) to a 5-0 victory.
HOW IT HAPPENED:• UMSL centerfielder Sara Kern gave Perryman all the run support she would need in the top of the second when she launched a two-run homer to left-center.
• The Tritons tacked on two more in the third inning on a walk, an error, a single and a double.
• UMSL set the final margin in the top of the fourth with a run on a double and a single.
KEY STATS:•
Olivia Parsels (Germantown, Tenn./St. Benedict HS) was 1-for-3 with a stolen base for the Lady Bucs (3-5).

Maddi Welch (Munford, Tenn./Munford HS) went 1-for-2.
•
Holly Oyhenart (Menifee, Calif./Paloma Valley HS) was 1-for-3.

Jenna Cotter (Collierville, Tenn./Houston HS) went the distance, allowing two earned runs as she scattered nine hits and two walks over seven innings.
GAME 2:WHAT HAPPENED:The Tritons rapped out 17 hits and scored in four of the game's five innings in a 14-0 win.
HOW IT HAPPENED:• UMSL opened the scoring in the top of the first with four runs on five hits, including a three-run homer to center by Serena Olson.
• The Tritons added a pair of runs in the second on two singles, two stolen bases and a two-out error.
• UMSL added two more to the lead in the third on a double and two singles.
• The Tritons put the game out of reach with a six-run fifth inning, taking advantage of six hits, including back-to-back homers by Olson and Kern to set the final margin.
KEY STATS:• Oyhenart was 2-for-3 with a stolen base.

Alexis Seward (Chino, Calif./Chino HS) went 1-for-2.

Hannah Oliver (Collierville, Tenn./Collierville HS) was 1-for-2.
• Cotter tossed a scoreless inning of relief , retiring the final two batters she faced with one walk and one strikeout.
WHAT'S NEXT:The Lady Bucs hit the road to open GSC play this weekend as they visit No. 3 Shorter. Saturday's doubleheader is set for a noon start, with a single game scheduled for noon Sunday. The Bucs return home next Tuesday afternoon at 1 p.m. as they host Maryville (Mo.) for a doubleheader.
