No. 15 Chargers Swamp Bucs 10-0

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.-Three pitchers combined for a one-hit shutout as No. 15 Alabama Huntsville defeated the Christian Brothers University Bucs 10-0 Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• After two scoreless innings, the Chargers (15-5, 8-1 GSC) opened the scoring in the bottom of the third with a run on a walk, a double and a sacrifice fly.
• UAH plated four runs in the fourth on a double, a homer and three singles.
• The Chargers tacked on three more in the fifth on a double, a walk and three singles.
• UAH scored twice in the sixth to set the final margin, cashing in on a single, a walk and two wild pitches.

KEY STATS:
• Lucas Castleberry (Bryant, Ark./Bryant HS) provided the Bucs' lone hit, a first-inning single to center.
• Michael Halley (Memphis, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS), Casey Goodwin (Memphis, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS), Riley Kilgore (Cordova, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS) and Gil Erwin (Covington, Tenn./Tipton-Rosemark Academy) each walked.
