FLORENCE, Ala.-No. 24 North Alabama hit .318 as they swept the Christian Brothers University Bucs in three sets Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Lions (12-1, 4-1 GSC) scored eight of the final 10 points to pull away to a 25-17 win in the first set after CBU (7-4, 3-3) had closed within 17-15.
• After the teams traded points for the first 10 points of the second set, UNA exploded for a 15-2 run to open a 20-7 lead, pulling away to win 25-13.
• The third set likewise started out even, with the teams tied as late as 8-8 and CBU within two points as late as 13-11 before the Lions ended the set, and the match, by scoring 12 of the last 14 points.
KEY STATS:

Brinsley Cooper (Rossville, Ind./Rossville HS) hit .500 with seven kills.

Emma Lenoir (Chattanooga, Tenn./East Hamilton HS) had nine kills and 10 digs.
