Second-Half Goals Lift No. 6 Lady Flames Over CBU

MEMPHIS-No. 6 Lee used a pair of second-half goals by Lauren Peters as they claimed a 2-0 win over the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs Friday night at Signaigo Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• After nearly an hour of scoreless soccer, Peters gave the Lady Flames (6-1-1, 3-0-0 GSC) the only goal they would need in the 59th minute when she scored off a McKenzie Bricker cross.
• Peters scored unassisted in the 87th minute to set the final margin.

KEY STATS:
• Lee out-shot the Lady Bucs (2-7-0, 2-3-0) 14-3, including an 8-1 edge in shots on goal.
Emily Wragg (Nottingham, England/The Becket School) made six saves for the Lady Bucs.

WHAT'S NEXT:
The Lady Bucs return to action Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. as they host Shorter.
