HUNTSVILLE, Ala.-Host Alabama Huntsville scored the game-winning goal with just seven seconds remaining in regulation to hand the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs a 2-1 defeat Friday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED:

Bailey Tadlock (Mandeville, La./Fontainebleau HS) put the Lady Bucs (8-4-1, 6-3-1 GSC) on the board first in the 69th minute as she scored an unassisted goal, her team-high seventh of the season as she moved into a tie for sixth place on the GSC leaderboard. Her 18 points are tied for fourth in the conference.
• The Chargers (6-7-0, 4-6-0) equalized in the 76th minute as Riley Ridgeway scored off a Hannah Oglesby corner kick.
• UAH's Amanda Elsey scored off a Carly Fee cross in the 90th minute, giving the Chargers the 2-1 victory.
KEY STATS:
• CBU out-shot the Chargers 15-8, including a 7-6 edge in shots on goal.

Autumn Woods (Collierville, Tenn./Collierville HS) made four saves for the Lady Bucs.
THE GSC STANDINGS:
North Alabama became the first team to clinch a berth in next month's GSC Tournament with 28 points. Mississippi College and Lee are tied for second with 24, followed by fourth-place Valdosta State with 23. CBU and West Florida are tied for fifth place with 19, ahead of Montevallo (16), West Alabama (15), West Georgia (15) and Alabama Huntsville (12). The top eight teams advance to the GSC Tournament, with quarterfinals set for Oct. 31, semifinals Nov. 3 and the finals Nov. 5.
WHAT'S NEXT:
The Lady Bucs hit the road for the final time Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. as they visit West Alabama. They close out the season with three straight home games, beginning Friday, Oct. 20, when they host West Florida at 5 p.m.
