CLINTON, Miss.-The Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs used a balanced attack with five players recording at least five kills and five players recording at least eight digs as they rolled to a sweep of Misssissippi College Tuesday night.

• After falling behind 12-9, the Lady Bucs (12-13, 5-4 GSC) regained the lead for good in the opening set with a 9-2 run that gave them an 18-14 edge, then they put it away with a six-point run capped by a
Kapria Manning (Olive Branch, Miss./Center Hill HS) ace that gave them a 24-16 edge. A
Mary Kathryn Miller (Fulton, Ky./Fulton City HS) kill clinched the set at 25-18.
• In the second set, the Lady Choctaws (10-14, 2-6) jumped to an early 7-2 lead. CBU steadily chipped away at it, first with a three-point run. A 4-1 run drew them within a point at 12-11, then CBU took the lead for good with a seven-point run that left them ahead 19-14 on an attack error. A

• In the third set it was the Lady Bucs who started strong, scoring the first four points as they never trailed. MC battled back to tie the set at 8-8 and 9-9, but CBU regained the lead for good with an 8-2 burst to go ahead 17-11 on an attack error.
