HUNTSVILLE, Ala.-Host Alabama Huntsville swept the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs Friday night as they took advantage of 30 CBU attack errors.
UAH 3, CBU 0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-16):
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Chargers (18-9, 6-3 GSC) used a 7-2 burst to take a 9-5 edge in the opening set, and they never trailed again. CBU (12-14, 5-5) closed within one point twice, as late as 16-15, before UAH closed the set with a 9-3 run to win 25-18.
• UAH used a six-point run to claim a 9-3 lead in the second set, and they never allowed the Lady Bucs closer than three points again. When CBU did come within 15-12, the Chargers ended the set with a 10-4 run.
• After the teams traded leads early in the third set, an
Emma Lenoir (Chattanooga, Tenn./East Hamilton HS) kill pulled CBU even at 11-11. UAH answered with a 13-2 run to take a 24-13 lead, eventually clinching the sweep at 25-16.
KEY STATS:
• Lenoir led the Lady Bucs with 12 kills and two aces, adding nine digs.

Alexa Henderson (Prairie du Sac, Wis./Sauk Prairie HS) dished out 28 assists with five digs and three blocks.

Blythe Clausen (Hendersonvile, Tenn./Pope John Paul II HS) garnered a match-best 18 digs.

Kapria Manning (Olive Branch, Miss./Center Hill HS) notched 10 digs with five kills and two blocks.
