FLORENCE, Ala.-Host North Alabama held the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs to their lowest hitting percentage in eight years Saturday afternoon as they swept a three-set match from CBU.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Lady Bucs (12-15, 5-6 GSC) started strong, taking a 6-2 lead behind a kill and an ace by
Emma Lenoir (Chattanooga, Tenn./East Hamilton HS), but the Lions (19-6, 8-2) dominated the rest of the afternoon, taking control for good with an eight-point run that gave them a 12-8 lead. They built their lead to as many as eight points at 19-11, and CBU came no closer than six points in a 25-18 set.
• UNA jumped to commanding early leads of 4-0 and 8-2 in the second set. After the Lady Bucs closed within 9-6 on a Lenoir kill, UNA used a 7-1 burst to open a 16-7 lead, and they pulled away to a 25-13 win in the set.
• After the teams traded points early in the third set, a 9-1 run gave the Lions a 13-5 lead. The Lady Bucs came within 14-10 on an
Alexa Henderson (Prairie du Sac, Wis./Sauk Prairie HS) ace, but the Lions answered with a 7-2 burst to take a 21-12 lead, eventually winning 25-14 to clinch the sweep.

• Lenoir led the Lady Bucs with eight kills and 13 digs.
• Henderson had 15 assists with seven digs.
NOTABLE:
• The Lady Bucs hit -.009 for the match, their lowest percentage since hitting -.019 in a loss at Henderson State Sept. 22, 2009.
