Lady Bucs blank Warhawks

MEMPHIS-  The  Christian Brothers University  Lady Bucs scored four second half goals, lifting them to a decisive 5-0 victory over the visiting Auburn Montgomery Warhawks.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• CBU (8-3-0, 6-2-0 GSC) jumped on the scoreboard in the 27th minute when Lauren Magdefrau (Raleigh, N.C./Cardinal Gibbons HS) took a bouncing ball away from an Auburn Montgomery (4-5-0, 3-3-0 GSC) defender and poked the ball past the goalie.
• Less than two minutes into the second half, Lauren trapped a ball played off a corner kick and assisted to Nikesha Mitchell (Toronto, Ontario/Cedarbrae C.I.), who promptly placed the ball in the back of the net.
• In the 53rd minute, Bailey Tadlock (Mandeville, La./Fontainebleau HS) took a cross that was originally blocked by a defender and turned it into an empty net goal.
Sinead Tierney (Winsford, England/St. Nicholas Catholic HS) got in on the action in the 78th minute, by scoring her first goal of the season off a cross by Ashton White (Collierville, Tenn./Collierville HS).
• With one minute left, Bailey Tadlock put in her second goal of the night with her shot over a diving keeper.

KEY STATS:
• CBU out-shot the Lady Hawks 19-4, including a 9-1 edge in shots on goal.
• CBU remains tied with Lee for third place in the GSC.
