NASHVILLE-The Christian Brothers University Bucs out-scored host Trevecca Nazarene 13-5 over the final two minutes as they rallied for a 77-74 win Saturday afternoon to remain unbeaten.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Bucs (4-0) took control early as they used a 12-0 run to open a 29-18 lead on an
Alex Trentman (Alexandria, Ky./Bishop Brossart HS) layup with 7:02 remaining in the first half.
• Trevecca Nazarene (0-4) used a 13-0 run late in the half to take a 36-34 lead on a Deion Johnson jumper with 50 seconds remaining in the half.
• Neither team would lead by more than five points in a second half that saw four ties and seven lead changes.
• The Trojans seized what would prove to be their final lead of the night when Austin Wills capped a 6-0 burst with a jumper that gave them a 69-66 lead with 2:18 remaining.

Joe Laravie (Kettering, Ohio/Alter HS) answered for the Bucs 25 seconds later with a game-tying three-pointer, and a Trentman three-point play gave the Bucs a 72-69 lead with 1:12 remaining.
Jeff Larkin (Cincinnati, Ohio/La Salle HS) capped an 8-0 burst by sinking two free throws with 47 seconds remaining.
• Wills knocked down a triple to bring the Trojans back within 74-72 with 43 seconds remaining, but
Brad Miller (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder HS) found Trentman for a layup to give the Bucs a 76-72 edge with 17 seconds remaining. Larkin stole the ball and sank a free throw to give the Bucs a five-point lead with nine seconds remaining, and Wills set the final margin by making a jumper with one second to play.
KEY STATS:
• Larkin scored 29 points with nine rebounds and six assists as he played 39 minutes in his return to the lineup.

Adam Dieball (Cincinnati, Ohio/Lakota East HS) added 15 points with five assists. He shot 6-of-7 from the floor, including 2-of-3 from three-point range, and he made his only free throw attempt.
• Trentman tacked on 14 with eight rebounds. He was 6-of-7 from the floor and made both free throw attempts.
• The Bucs shot 54.7 percent (29-of-53) for the game, but they were a season-low 32 percent (8-of-25) from three-point range. Trevecca finished 45.2 percent (28-of-62) overall, including 35.3 percent (12-of-34) from beyond the arc.
• CBU out-rebounded the Trojans 36-27 for the game, but Trevecca held a 7-4 edge in offensive rebounds. Trevecca forced 18 CBU turnovers while committing 15.
