SEARCY, Ark.-Despite season-low scoring nights from their top two scorers, the No. 10/8 Christian Brothers University Bucs rolled to a 74-59 win at Harding Saturday night as to remain unbeaten.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• After the teams were tied 8-8 five and a half minutes into the game, the Bucs (9-0) locked Harding (0-7) down for the rest of the half defensively, holding the Bisons without a field goal for 10:27 as they went on an 11-3 run to take a 19-11 lead on a
Joe Laravie (Kettering, Ohio/Alter HS) triple with 4:20 remaining in the half.
• Back-to-back triples by
Brad Miller (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder HS) and
Luke Rudy (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills HS) late in the half extended the CBU lead to double-digits at 28-16 with 1:34 remaining in the half.
• The Bucs used a 10-2 run early in the second half to extend their lead to 52-30 on a
Jacob Lyons (Hernando, Miss./Christian Brothers HS) layup with 12:43 remaining, and the Bisons never came closer than 12 points again, with CBU leading by as many as 25 points.
KEY STATS:
• Miller led the Bucs with 19 points, seven rebounds and three steals in just 22 minutes. He shot 7-of-8 overall, including a perfect 5-of-5 from three-point range.
• Rudy scored a career-high 17 with three steals in 25 minutes off the bench, making 5-of-9 triples.
• Laravie added 15 with three rebounds.

Jeff Larkin (Cincinnati, Ohio/La Salle HS) scored nine with six rebounds and three steals, his first single-digit scoring night of the season.

Adam Dieball (Cincinnati, Ohio/Lakota East HS) was also held to single digits for the first time this season, scoring six with six assists and four rebounds in 27 minutes.
• The Bucs shot 44.1 percent (26-of-59) overall, including 44.1 percent (15-of-34) from beyond the arc. Harding finished 44.0 percent (22-of-50) overall but just 29.2 percent (7-of-24) from deep.
• CBU out-rebounded the Bisons 36-30, including a 13-6 edge in offensive rebounds. The Bucs forced 15 Harding turnovers while committing 11.
