Lady Bucs edge Flames 1-0

MEMPHIS-The Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs scored early in the second-half leading to a 1-0 win over the visiting Lee.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Anna Della Rosa (Collierville, Tenn./Houston HS) put on the pressure by stealing the ball from a Flame defender just outside the keeper's box.  Della Rosa immediately fed the assist across the box to Lauren Magdefrau (Raleigh, N.C./Cardinal Gibbons HS) who trapped it and chipped over a sliding goalkeeper into the back of the net.  This stood as the decisive goal for the Lady Bucs (6-2-0, 3-1-0 GSC).

KEY STATS:
• Lee (4-3-0, 3-1-0 GSC) out-shot the Lady Bucs 17-7, with a slight margin of 5-4 on goal.
Autumn Woods (Collierville, Tenn./Collierville HS) made five saves, leading the Lady Bucs to a second straight game without allowing a goal.  

WHAT'S NEXT:
CBU will finish out the weekend on Signaigo field by facing Shorter Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
