Bailey Tadlock (Mandeville, La., Fontainebleau HS) scored a goal and an assist to lead the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs to a 2-1 win over Missouri S&T Sunday afternoon at Signaigo Field.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Miners (0-1-0) struck first in the 12th minute whe Mikaela Mockenhaupt scored on a long chip shot from the left side, curling the shot over the CBU goalkeeper after taking a long throw from Chayse Richardson.
• CBU (1-1-0) equalized in the 22nd minute.
Nikesha Mitchell (Toronto, Ontario/Cedarbrae C.I.) sent a throughball ahead to Tadlock, who chipped a shot from the top of the 18-yard box over the Miner goalkeeper for her first career goal.
• Tadlock served up the game-winner in the 67th minute. She sent a long cross to the left side of the six-yard box, setting up
Ashton White (Collierville, Tenn./Collierville HS), who scored into the right side of the net for the game-winner.
KEY STATS:
• The Lady Bucs out-shot MST 23-4, including a 14-4 lead in shots on goal.
