MEMPHIS-The Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs racked up a season-best 12 blocks as they rolled to a sweep of Auburn-Montgomery Friday night at Canale Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The first set was back-and-forth with eight ties and five lead changes. After a four-point run put the Warhawks (9-13, 0-10 GSC) on top 16-15, CBU (10-13, 3-7) answered with a 6-1 burst to take a 21-17 edge. The Warhawks drew within a point before CBU closed the set with four straight, winning 25-20 on a
Gennah Schoen (Portland, Ore./David Douglas HS) ace.
• The Lady Bucs dominated the second set, building early leads of 3-0, 6-1 and 10-3, pulling away to a 25-8 win as freshman
Abby Stutz (Lincoln, Neb./Lincoln Christian) recorded set point on a solo block.
• CBU started strong in the third set as well, taking early leads of 4-0, 11-3 and 14-4, leading by as many as 15 points at 22-7 before winning 25-13 on a
Mollie Wadsworth (Hernando, Miss./Northpoint Christian HS) kill.
KEY STATS:

Emma Lenoir (Chattanooga, Tenn./East Hamilton HS) led the way for the Lady Bucs, hitting .391 with 12 kills, five aces and five digs.
•
Miaya Smith (Memphis, Tenn./St. George's Independent School) hit .471 with nine kills and seven blocks. Her seven blocks were a career-high for a three-set match tied for seventh-most in a three-set match in school history.
• Wadsworth added six kills with four blocks.

Joze Smith (Atoka, Tenn./Tipton-Rosemark Academy) added a match-best 10 digs.

Anna Graziosi (Lakeland, Tenn./St. Benedict HS) logged nine digs.
