MEMPHIS-No. 13 West Florida hit .321 with 12 blocks, the highest total allowed by the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs this season, as they swept CBU Saturday afternoon at Canale Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Argos (17-4, 9-1 GSC) broke open a 5-all tie with a four-point run, taking a 9-5 edge they would not surrender. After they led by as many as seven points at 19-12, CBU (10-14, 3-8) used an 11-5 run to close within one point at 24-23 on an
Alexa Henderson (Prairie du Sac, Wis./Sauk Prairie HS) ace, but the Argos held on for a 25-23 win.
• UWF hit .500 as they took early leads of 4-1 and 6-2, eventually pulling away with a 6-1 run that gave them a 19-10 edge en route to a 25-14 win in the second set.
• After the third set saw four early ties, the Argos regained the lead for good at 11-7 with a four-point run. They built their lead to as many as six at 22-16 before the Lady Bucs stormed back within a point at 22-21 on a five-point run featuring three
Emma Lenoir (Chattanooga, Tenn./East Hamilton HS) aces, but UWF scored three of the last four to claim a 25-22 win.
KEY STATS:
• Lenoir led the Lady Bucs with 15 points and three aces for 18 points, adding seven digs.

Miaya Smith (Memphis, Tenn./St. George's Independent School) hit .450 with 12 kills and a block.

Mollie Wadsworth (Hernando, Miss./Northpoint Christian HS) tacked on nine kills, hitting .261.
• Henderson dished out 36 assists with three digs.

Joze Smith (Atoka, Tenn./Tipton-Rosemark Academy) garnered a match-best 10 digs.Â

Anna Graziosi (Lakeland, Tenn./St. Benedict HS) added eight digs with a pair of aces.
WHAT'S NEXT:
The Lady Bucs head to Orlando next weekend for the GSC/SSC South Region Crossover, where they will play three matches Friday and Saturday against teams from the Sunshine State Conference, with opponents and times to be set tomorrow. CBU's next home match will be Tuesday, Oct. 30, when they host Union at 7 p.m.
