MONTGOMERY, Alabama- The Christian Brothers University Bucs scored three first half goals and held off Auburn Montgomery for a 3-1 victory Saturday afternoon, clinching the No. 4 seed in next week's Gulf South Conference Tournament.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bucs (8-5-3, 7-1-3 GSC) struck first as James Raptis (London, England/Finchley Catholic) fed Caleb Tammi (Collierville, Tenn./Collierville HS) with a beautiful pass which led to a goal in the 26th minute.
- Xavi Lao (Barcelona, Spain/Escola Pia Sabadell) struck next for the Bucs as he extended the lead with a goal in the 30th minute.
- Lao continued his strong play with another goal coming in the 34th minute off of a free kick.
- The Warhawks' (3-12-2, 2-7-2) Asher Gipner closed out the scoring for the game with a goal coming from a feed from Berkley Louviere in the 85th minute.

- The Bucs out-shot the Warhawks 15-10 for the game, including a 9-4 advantage in shots on goal.
