PENSACOLA, Florida-The Christian Brothers University women's tennis team dropped both matches of their double header on Friday, falling 9-0 to West Florida and 5-0 to Valdosta State.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
No. 2 West Florida opened up against the Lady Bucs with victories at the three doubles slots. In singles play, the Lady Bucs were unable to secure a point, completing the nine point sweep for the Argos. In their second mach of the day, the Lady Bucs once again fell behind by three points exiting doubles play. Instead of playing to completion, the match ended when Valdosta secured their fifth point of the match with victories at the No. 2 and No. 3 singles slots.
WHAT'S NEXT:
The Lady Bucs will play their remaining Pensacola match against West Georgia on Saturday. On their return to Memphis, the Lady Bucs will stop in Mobile, Alabama to take on Spring Hill for their final match of the season.
