Bucs Fall in Road Contest at Mississippi College

CLINTON, Miss. - Mississippi College scored a goal in each half to defeat the Christian Brothers University men's soccer team 2-0, on Sunday at Robert P. Longabaugh Field. The setback ended a three match win streak for the Bucs. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
 
25' | The Choctaws got on the board, taking advantage of an own goal. 
52' | MC scored what proved to be the final goal of the contest when Victor Bazan got behind the CBU defense, and put the shot away.

KEY STATS | NOTEABLES
  • The Bucs recorded three shots on goal in the final 40 minutes, but were turned away by MC goalkeeper Alejandro Chavarria
  • MC won the match despite being outshot 15-10.
  • The 15 shots for CBU marked its third highest total of the season.
