No. 15 Lee Uses Second Half Goals to Knock off Lady Bucs

MEMPHIS - No. 15 Lee scored a pair of goals, in a four minute span, during the second half in a 2-0 victory over the Christian Brothers University women's soccer team, on Sunday at Signaigo Field. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

HALF | A scoreless first half saw the Lady Flames hold an 8-4 advantage in shots. 
50' | With the second half just underway, Lee scored the opener as Devin Healy put away a rebound by Avery Engels.
54' | Less than four minutes later, the visitors scored the final goal of the match when Kelsey Yoder found the back of the net. 

KEY STATS | NOTEABLES
  • Lee outshot the Lady Bucs 10-1 in the second half, and finished the match with an 18-5 edge in shots. 
  • The loss to the Lady Flames was the first home setback for CBU this season.
