LIVINGSTON, Ala. - West Alabama scored a goal in the 37th minute and held on for a 1-0 victory over the Christian Brothers University women's soccer team, on Friday at a rain soaked Tiger Stadium.

Ashton White saw her effort saved by UWA keeper Jenni Aarniva.
37' | After firing seven shots in 15 minutes, the hosts found a breakthrough when Lauren George took advantage of a turnover and muscled the ball into the goal.
HALF | UWA outshot the Lady Bucs 11-1 in the first half, forcing five saves from
Riley Chafin.
46' | CBU had an excellent chance to tie the match just after halftime, but
Meg Sander had her shot hit the post.
