CLEVELAND, Tenn. – No. 4 seed Lee scored a goal with just over seven minutes left in a 1-0 victory over the No. 5 seed Christian Brothers University men's soccer team, in the opening round of the Gulf South Conference Tournament, on a cold night, Tuesday at Lee University Soccer Field.
CBU finished it's season 7-9-1 with a 5-5-1 record in conference contests. The 10 wins are tied for the most since the 2015 and 2017 squads finished with the same total.
HOW IT HAPPENED
HALF | An evenly played first 45 minutes saw the Bucs hold a 5-3 advantage in shots.
82' | With just over eight minutes remaining, Lee scored what proved to be the game-winner when Yotam Balbul fired home a loose ball after a free kick.
