Memphis - The Christian Brothers University volleyball team drop a thrilling five set match to Alabama Huntsville, on Saturday at Canale Arena. Before the match, CBU honored seniors Emma Lenoir, Mollie Wadsworth and Anna Graziosi. The record breaking trio has appeared in a combined 300 matches.
CBU 2, UAH 3 (25-21, 20-25, 25-17, 15-25, 15-12)
WHAT HAPPENED: In a match of runs, the teams traded sets before UAH earned the win with a 15-12 victory in the fifth set.
KEY STATS | Noteables:
- The seniors led the way, as Lenoir recorded 14 and Wadsworth tallied 10. Graziosi led CBU with 30 assists.
- Alayna Maslinski set a new career-high with 13 kills. She also made the most out of her attacks, hitting .500.
- Meredith Hollinger and Wadsworth led Lady Bucs with three blocks each.
- Maddie Stevens and Lenoir tallied three service aces apiece.
- CBU is now 3-7 in five set matches.
