MEMPHIS - Visiting Rhodes made 11 three pointers to help lift it to a 73-70 victory over the Christian Brothers University women's basketball team, on Tuesday night at Canale Arena. This marked the first meeting between the two Memphis schools since 2012.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Both teams came out hot, sinking a combined 9-of-15 from long range, but it was the visitors who led 27-24 after the opening quarter.
- Rhodes also won the second quarter by three points to take a 45-39 lead into halftime.
- The Lady Bucs opened the second half on a 12-2 run to help tie the score at 51 after three quarters.
- Rhodes saw its lead grow to 66-60 with 3:07 left, but the Lady Bucs responded and took a 68-67 lead on a Taylor Williams layup with 1:06 left.
- The Lynx scored six of the final eight points of the game, including four from the free throw line to earn the victory.

- Rhodes finished 11-of-22 from three point range. CBU was 7-for-19.
- The Lynx converted 14 turnovers into 17 points.
- Darcy Doran scored a career-high 13 points to go along with seven rebounds.
