MEMPHIS – Auburn Montgomery pitchers allowed just three hits, over two games, in a doubleheader sweep of the Christian Brothers University softball team, on Saturday at Bland Field. AUM took the opener 11-0 (5) and did not allow a hit in a 7-0 victory in the nightcap.

GAME ONE: Auburn Montgomery 11 (38-11, 16-9 GSC), CBU 0 (10-35 1-23 GSC) (5)
GAME CHANGER:
- In the fourth AUM scored eight runs, taking advantage of a pair of home runs and two singles.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- AUM finished the game with a 13-3 advantage in hits.

- With AUM leading 5-0, in the fourth, the Warhawks hit a pair of home runs, a double and two singles to take a 10-0 lead.
- In the fifth, AUM finished the scoring on a hit by pitch with the bases loaded.
GAME TWO: Auburn Montgomery 7 (39-11, 17-9 GSC), CBU 0 (10-36 1-24 GSC)
GAME CHANGER:
- AUM starting pitcher Natalie Johnsey did not allow a base runner until the fifth inning and did not give up a hit.

- The Warhawks finished the game with eight hits..
- Johnsey struck out seven batters.
- CBU pitchers combined for eight walks and four hit by pitch.
KEY PLAYS:
- AUM started strong, again in game two, taking advantage of four walks and two hit by pitch to take a 4-0 lead into the bottom of the first.
- The Warhawks added single runs in the second, fourth and seventh innings.
