HUNTSVILLE - The Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs began their Gulf South Conference road play Friday evening as they traveled to The University of Alabama in Huntsville to take on the Chargers. Each set was highly competitive, but UAH was able to win the match 3-0.
CBU 0, UAH 3 (17-25, 24-26, 21-25)
WHAT HAPPENED: The passing for UAH was more efficient and led to more attack kills as they recorded ten more in each statistic. This helped the Chargers defeat the Lady Bucs 3-0.
KEY STATS:
- Emma Lenoir led the CBU's offense as she recorded 10 kills in the match. Miaya Smith (9) and Mollie Wadsworth (8) followed closely behind.
- UAH edged out CBU in hitting percentage. The Chargers recorded a .299 percentage versus the Lady Bucs' .219 percent.
- Lenoir has recorded double digit kills in five consecutive matches.
