MEMPHIS - Visiting Montevallo outscored the Christian Brothers University women's basketball team 44-33, in the second half, in a 91-79 victory, on Saturday afternoon, at Canale Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• With 1:49 left in the opening quarter, a three pointer by Mackenzie Lane put CBU up 20-11.
• The Falcons responded, going on a 7-2 run to close out the period.
• Montevallo won the second quarter, 29-14, to take a 47-46 lead into halftime. 
• The Falcons opened up their lead when they opened the second half with a 12-2 run.
• On the heels of the early second half run, the Falcons did not lead by less than double digits the rest of the contest. 

KEY STATS | NOTEABLES:

• CBU finished the game shooting 43 percent (27-of-63) from the floor. After making 13 three pointers in their last game, the Lady Bucs were limited to just 5-for-26. 
• Montevallo went 34-of-74 from the floor (46 percent) and 10-for-29 from three point range. 
• CBU was 20-for-25 from the free throw line, including 11-of-12 from Brynne Lytle. 
• Montevallo scored 25 points off 19 CBU turnovers. 
• Brynne Lytle scored a season 32 points and tied for a season high 10 rebounds.
• Lauren Taylor finished with a double-double, scoring 12 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. 
• Kelsey Adkins scored double figure points for the second straight game, as she finished with 13.
