HOW IT HAPPENED:
- With 1:49 left in the opening quarter, a three pointer by Mackenzie Lane put CBU up 20-11.
- The Falcons responded, going on a 7-2 run to close out the period.
- Montevallo won the second quarter, 29-14, to take a 47-46 lead into halftime.
- The Falcons opened up their lead when they opened the second half with a 12-2 run.
- On the heels of the early second half run, the Falcons did not lead by less than double digits the rest of the contest.
KEY STATS | NOTEABLES:
- CBU finished the game shooting 43 percent (27-of-63) from the floor. After making 13 three pointers in their last game, the Lady Bucs were limited to just 5-for-26.
- Montevallo went 34-of-74 from the floor (46 percent) and 10-for-29 from three point range.
- CBU was 20-for-25 from the free throw line, including 11-of-12 from Brynne Lytle.
