CLINTON, Miss. - The Christian Brothers University women's basketball team shot 47 percent from three point range, and converted 18-of-21 from the free throw line in a 78-71 victory over Mississippi College, on Thursday Night, at A.E. Wood Coliseum. CBU outscored the hosts 44-37 in the second half, including 21-13 in the third quarter. CBU avenged a 77-62 loss to MC on December 15.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- MC jumped out to a 14-6 lead, but the Lady Bucs closed the quarter on a 10-4 run to cut the deficit to 18-16.
- The Lady Bucs won the second quarter, 18-16 to tie the game at 34 going into halftime.
- CBU exploded out of the locker room to start the second half, shooting 62 percent (8-of-13), to take a 55-47 lead.The Lady Bucs were 3-for-6 from long-range in the quarter.
- The Lady Bucs lead by as many as 12 points (64-52) in the fourth quarter, but the hosts responded with a 13-4 run to cut the lead to three, with 3:10 left.
- CBU scored the next six points, and made all four of its free throws in the final minute to hold on for the win.
