MEMPHIS - The Christian Brothers University women's basketball team knocked down a season-high 13 three pointers in an 80-74 victory over West Alabama, on Thursday night at Canale Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- With 2:28 remaining in the opening quarter UWA led 15-10, but the Lady Bucs cut the lead to 19-17 going into the second period.
- The second quarter belonged to the Lady Bucs, as they converted 5-of-9 from long range to take a 40-31 lead into halftime.
- UWA outscored CBU 19-17 in the third quarter to set the stage for a close contest heading into the fourth quarter.
- The Lady Bucs led by as many as 10 points in the fourth quarter, but the Tigers went on a 7-0 run to make it a three point game (67-64) with 4:04 left.
- After UWA cut the lead to four, with 52 seconds left, Kelsey Adkins made a layup to give her team a 78-72 lead.
- Following a frantic 25 seconds, Brynne Lytle sank a pair of free throws to seal the victory.
KEY STATS | NOTEABLES:
- CBU finished the game shooting 45 percent (29-of-64) from the floor, including 13-of-31 (42 percent) from long-range.
- UWA went 30-of-58 from the floor (52 percent), but were just 5-for-18 from three point range and 9-for-15 from the free throw stripe.
- CBU forced 20 turnovers, while commiting a season low 12 miscues. The Lady Bucs had 16 points off UWA turnovers.
- Brynne Lytle scored a game high 24 points and grabbed a team high eight rebounds.
- Despite missing the first nine games of the season, Kelsey Adkins finished with 18 points and six boards.
- The 80 points, and 13 three pointers are a season high for the Lady Bucs.
