JACKSON, Tenn.- No. 15 Union University outscored the Christian Brothers University women's basketball team 18-7 in the first quarter, and did not look back, in a 65-45 victory, on Friday night, at the Fred DeLay Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
· The first quarter was all Lady Bulldogs, as they jumped out to a 11-2 lead and held a 18-7 advantage going into the second quarter.
· Union led by as many as 16 points, in the second period, and lead 31-17 at halftime.
· CBU kept pace with the Lady Bulldogs in the third quarter, as both teams scored 16 points.
· A three point shot at the horn gave Union a 47-33 lead after three quarters.
· Union outscored the Lady Bucs 18-12 in the final quarter.
KEY STATS | NOTEABLES:
· The 45 points were the fewest for CBU since scoring 43 in a 64-43 loss against North Alabama (2.1.18).
· The Lady Bucs finished the game 14-of-64 (22 percent) from the floor, and were just 4-of-26 (15 percent) from long range.
· CBU knocked down 13-of-14 (93 percent) from the free throw line.
· Union was 25-of-57 (44 percent) from the field, including 5-for-25 (20 percent) from beyond the three point line.
