MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Auburn Montgomery scored 10 runs in the opener and nine in the following game, to earn a doubleheader sweep of the Christian Brothers University baseball team, on Saturday at the AUM Baseball Complex.
GAME ONE: AUM 10 (2-6, 1-0 GSC), CBU 0 (2-5, 0-1 GSC)
GAME CHANGER:
- AUM had multiple hits in five of the seven innings, and finished the game with 14.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- The Bucs were outhit 14-3.
- Starting pitcher
Blake Dallas allowed seven runs, on seven hits, in 3.1 innings.
KEY PLAYS:
- After AUM was retired in order in the first, the Warhawks scored a pair of runs in the second inning.
- The hosts took control of the game with three more runs in the third frame.
- AUM added a run in the fourth and finished the game with a three RBI triple in the seventh.
GAME TWO: AUM 9 (3-6, 2-0), CBU 3 (2-6, 0-2 GSC)
GAME CHANGER:
- The Warhawks scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- CBU was outhit 10-6.
- Six different players recorded hits for CBU, including
Ben Brocato who hit his first career home run.

Kyle Raburn took the loss in relief, allowing five runs, on three hits, in 0.2 innings.
KEY PLAYS:
- Brocato gave CBU a 2-0 lead in the top of the first.
- AUM answered in the bottom half of the inning, taking advantage of an error to score a pair of runs.

J.D. Goodspeed put the Bucs up 3-2, with an RBI single in the second.
- After AUM tied the game in the second, the Warhawks were kept off the scoreboard until they plated five runs in the fifth inning.
- AUM finished the scoring with an RBI single in the sixth.
