MEMPHIS - Union outscored the Christian Brothers University men's basketball team 45-34 in the second half, to earn a 85-73 win, on Thursday Night, at Canale Arena.
The game marked the season finale for the Bucs, who finished the season 11-17 overall, with a 7-13 mark in Gulf South Conference contests. CBU dropped its last five, including three by just two points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the opening stages of the first half Union led by as many as 10 points, but the Bucs finished the last 10 minutes with a 25-16 spurt to cut the lead to 40-39, at the half.
- After the Bucs took a couple of early leads, the second half saw Union go on a 12-3 run to take a 60-50 lead, with 10:53 left.
- Union kept its foot on the gas pedal, using solid shooting to open up a 81-63 lead, with 3:23 remaining.
- The Bucs closed the game on a 10-4 run to finish the scoring.

- The Bulldogs shot 58 percent in the second half (19-for-33) and 55 percent (34-of-62) for the game.
- CBU finished the game 40 percent from the floor (25-of-62), but was just 1-of-12, from long range, in the second half.
