MEMPHIS – Connor McTeer smacked a walkoff home run to help give the Christian Brothers University baseball team a 6-5 win over Lee, on Saturday afteroon, at Nadicksbernd Field. Lee bounced back to take the nightcap 10-1.

The victory over Lee was the first in program history for the Bucs (1-13).

GAME ONE: CBU 6 (3-11, 1-6 GSC), Lee University 5 (8-7, 1-3 GSC) 
 
GAME CHANGER:
- In the fourth, the Bucs rallied from down 4-0 to cut the deficit to one, using three hits to lead off the inning.   
 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- CBU finished the game with a 12-9 edge in hits.
- Jaime Soto led CBU at the plate finishing 3-for-4 with three singles, and a run scored. 
- Connor McTeer had a multi-hit game, including the walk-off homer in the bottom of the ninth.  
- Blake Dallas started the game for the Bucs, going seven innings, and allowed five runs, on four hits, with eight strikeouts and three walks. Hayden Edwards pitched the last two            
  frames and did not allow a run. three hits. 
- The Bucs finished with a combined ten strikeouts by their pitching staff, while walking just three.

 
KEY PLAYS:
- After the Bucs knocked out Flames starter Alex Harper-Cook after 3 2/3 innings, they took advantage, plating three runs in the fourth.
- Kegan Voss tripled in Soto for the first run of the game. He would score later in the inning. CBU also got RBI singles from Travis Cole and Garett Reason-Kerkhoff.
- In the fifth, CBU tied the game up on a Voss RBI single.
- After Lee took a 5-4 lead in the eighth, CBU tied the game on a wild pitch. 
- McTeer lead off the inning with the game-winning home run. 
 
NOTEWORTHY:
- Soto tied a season high with three hits  
- McTeer had his first homerun and walk-off hit as a Buc and collected a season high two hits   
 
GAME TWO: Lee 10 (9-7, 2-3 GSC) | CBU 1 (3-12, GSC 1-7)
 
GAME CHANGER:
- In the fourth the Flames took advantage of one of CBU's six errors, along with a pair of hits, to add two more runs to their lead. 
 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- CBU was outhit 12-4
- Antonio Fernandez finished the game 2-for-2 with a double, single, and a walk.  
- Cole and Soto had the only other hits for the Bucs 
- Johnathan Baldelli got the game 2 start for the Bucs, allowing six runs, on nine hits, in four innings. He also had three strikeouts and no walks. - CBU was outhit 12-4
- Antonio Fernandez finished the game 2-for-2 with a double, single, and a walk.  
- Cole and Soto had the only other hits for the Bucs 
- Johnathan Baldelli got the game 2 start for the Bucs, allowing six runs, on nine hits, in four innings. He also had three strikeouts and no walks. 
- Logan Workman pitched a complete game for the Flames, giving up one run on four hits. Workman finished the day with ten strikeouts and four walks.
- The Bucs finished the game with six errors.     


KEY PLAYS:
- CBU scored its only run of the game on a first inning fielders choice RBI by Soto.
- The Flames took advantage of CBU's errors, scoring eight runs in the last four innings.
